CARLING CUP CHAMPIONS!!!

4-0!!

What a final ManU had just won. Even though sceptics will claim that its Wigan that ManU has defeated but I do not really see what's wrong with that. After all, this is a team that beat several EPL teams along the way, including Arsenal, to get into the final. Though its scant consolation for ManU's performance in EPL and Champion's League, but I would say its something that MAnU fans should be proud of anyway. Losing the EPL eventually to Chelski and getting eliminated by Liverpool in the FA Cup is really nothing to be ashamed of. We do not need to go far to see how Liverpool snatched the Champion's League from Milan last season. A great night for ManU fans, let's just savour it and ignore the sceptics. :p

A start of a new week today, its time for me to push myself to get back to serious working mode. The past week was like a holiday to me, having only came back from Bangkok early Wednesday morning. Yes...Bangkok again. But if you ask me, who will get sick of Bangkok man! Haha.
Cheap food, cheap stuffs, cheap massages...woo! Its heaven man. I am going back again soon. :p

I would say this time round was a totally different experience from my previous trips. Certainly had more experiences of the local culture than previously. We basically tried alot of food along the streets and boy was it satisfying. Of course, we did indulge ourselves in some good food on a few nights. Bang Klang Naam was where I had the best seafood meal in Bangkok. Thanks to Linus for bringing us there. Great food, great ambience by the river...and it comes only at less den $20 each. Thought you might say that $20 is alot for a meal in Thailand, but considering that we had dunno how many fishes, GIANT size prawns and a hell lot of other dishes to go with, I wouldn't even mind paying twice that amount.

Besides eating, we covered most of the famous shopping areas like what most people did. MBK, Chatchuchak and Suam Lum. I am beginning to love Suam Lum. Guys, you all should check out the area where they hold all their local designers. Those stuffs are interesting. Price abit steep but the stuffs are really damn original and unique. I mean even though its abit steep in Thailand context, please do compare it to Singapore. I was sooooo tempted to buy a bean bag sofa that was only going for less than $40. Regretted that when I came back. It shall be my priority the next time I am in Bangkok. :p

In all, this trip was very much fufilling since I managed to accomplish most of my objectives. Got a few shirts for work and basically replenished my wardrobe which is enough to sustain me till my next trip, made a suit that will come in handy in time to come, experienced the roadside culture of Thailand etc. However, if there's one thing I would regret, its that I missed my Grand Palace trip again. TMD!!

I SWEAR....I am going to Grand Palace first thing upon reaching Bangkok for my next trip. Haha.
