~~Eve of Chinese New Year Eve~~

What a weekend I had...as almost everybody around me is basking in the approaching of Chinese New Year, I found myself somewhat isolated from the hype and expectation...Chinese New Year don't seem to mean much to me nowadays....maybe just another reason for friends to meet up...exchanging their customary greetings and well wishes for the new year ahead. The only things I look forward to during Chinese New Year would be the nice shows there would be on TV...especially if u have cable tv... :p

Spent the weekend doing almost the same thing as last week...yawnz~

KTV on Fri with my former campmates again...though there was a change of venue this time...my first time at Partyworld Shenton Way...all their outlets looks the same la...don't see why we must go so far...haha. Prior to that, met Noel Fred and Kelly at Suntec for some new year shopping...mostly done by Noel...lolz~ Managed to get him a discount for the clothes he bought at Topman because a poly friend of mine, Debbie happened to work there.

Saturday...hmmm....what else but soccer man? haha...but this time we chose a cheaper alternative as we settled for a coffeeshop near my place...watched my favourite ManU triumph once again. I still prefer Bar'celona despite the price differences because the atmosphere is just so different. I could say value for money? After that, we went to Pasir Ris for supper....sounds abit stupid since we were already at a coffeeshop though the variety was pathetic.

Sunday night was spent having dinner with my friends at Rice Table in Suntec City. Heh...$23 for Nasi Padang...lolz~ The food is nice and the dishes are on free flow but I still do not think the price is justified...haha...After dinner, we decided to move over to Pacific Coffee Connection at Citylink to sit down and relax only to realise that the cafe would be closing in like 30mins time...Had no choice but to find another alternative. Managed to find a cheap one at that... :p
We bought some drink and tidbits at 7-11 before moving over to Millenia Walk to whill off time. Settled down at a comfortable spot before we began to make ourselves feel at home...we ended up all lying on the floor and gazing at the stars in the sky....something I don't picture myself doing that frequently.... :)

I have always loved Millenia Walk...ever since I was working in Suntec a few years back...loved the surroundings and the atmosphere there. I do not know why but I always feel very at ease when I am there...just a feeling that I cannot put into words...I have a friend who suggested that the place looks romantic but I think its more than that...haha. Maybe I just have some weird affliations with the place ba... :p

Today is the last chance for me to do some last minute shopping...I have yet to get myself a new pair of jeans as instructed by my mother who insist New Year must wear new clothes....duh~
I do not believe in that....but I do believe in sparing my ears from excessive nagging...haa~ Its all Chinese New Year's fault....lolz~
